Shape the security of tomorrow!

Our fundamental rights in Europe and Canada create ‘an area of freedom, security and justice’.
However, these rights are not absolute and can be removed for security purposes under certain
circumstances. What is the relationship between liberty and security from a current
perspective? We have to rethink our understanding of security in the digital context
considering the current political climate characterized by radicalization, terrorism, cyber-attacks, and cross-border and cross-sector insecurity.

Connect with driven young people from Europe and Canada and develop ideas for our future on the topic of “Security”! Discuss how technological advancements are changing our understanding of security and how we can use digitality to build an inclusive society!

Your opinion matters! All outcomes will be shared with European and Canadian policymakers to make sure your voice is heard.
